A small country town in South Australia
What brought you to Queenstown?
I had finished travelling Europe & Asia but wasn't ready to go back to Australia. So I came to Queenstown and like everyone I didn't plan on staying long term, now 4 years later. Still here!
What is your favourite thing about Black Sheep Backpackers?
The people (staff and guests) + the vibe. We put a lot of time into creating the best spaces for guests!
Where do you think is the best place to eat/drink in Queenstown?
Pedro's by the Lake for food! And for a drink definitely Ballarat (also the best place for a boogie!)
What do you love about Queenstown?
The views, hikes and long summer days and BBQs down by the lake.
What's the best advice you've been given?
"Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow."

What's the best advice or quote you've been given?
What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No, I go for the chandelier. It's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning, the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later, I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting. I tell Tiffany to meet me by the Trocadero in Paris. She's been waiting for me all these years. She's never taken another lover. I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stashed the chandelier.- Dwight Schrute.
